Briefcase honouring the Macguffin in Pulp Fiction
I wanted to create an object of wonderment involving my own self image, I dismantled a briefcase for it's locks and hinges and rebuilt my own using MDF with the aim of replicating the briefcase Macguffin in the movie 'Pulp Fiction.' There are many interpretations of that particular briefcase and what it contained but my favourite has always been that it contained the Meaning of Life. My Macguffin simply contained an image of me in the style of the Sleeping Beauty Queen which illuminated and doubled up on opening of the briefcase.
