Emin tent with friends and external embellishments
Foundation project of what we would take to a desert island. I replicated the Tracey Emin tent (Everyone I Have Ever Slept With 1963–1995). I asked all my closest friends and family to supply me with a selfie which I printed and created internal bunting with it. I have always had a fascination with old ladies brooches and anthropomorphise them, wishing they could reveal their stories, their past owners, past adventures. I embellished the exterior of the tent with these glistening brooches that I have collected over the year to reflect light back to a hopeful rescuer.
